Temporary Road Closure – Ian Macdonald Boulevard Between Fine Arts Road and Pond Road

York University is experiencing a temporary disruption to its
facilities/service.

Ian Macdonald Boulevard Between Fine Arts Road and Pond Road

Nature of Disruption:

Ian Macdonald Boulevard south of Fine Arts Road and north of Pond Road will be temporarily closed for vehicular traffic to allow a service connection required for the new School of Continuing Studies building.

Expected Duration of Disruption:
The work is scheduled to commence at 8 am on Monday, April 6, 2020 and is anticipated to be completed by Friday April 10. Should there be a delay, the road will remain open and the work scheduled for the week of April 13-17. Please monitor conditions locally and obey all construction signs.

For pedestrian access between The Pond Road and Fine Arts Road, please use Ian Macdonald Boulevard (west side) sidewalk during this time.

The Ian Macdonald Boulevard (east side) sidewalk will remain open to the extent of the Bennett Centre southwest entrance. There will be no direct access to The Pond Road.

For vehicular detour, please use James Gillies Street or Atkinson Road, and Fine Arts Road.
