York University is experiencing a temporary disruption to its
facilities/service.
Facilities/Services have been disrupted at:
Location of Disruption:
Lumbers East Parking Lot will be temporarily closed
Nature of Disruption:
The contractor working on Farquharson will set up a crane North of the Farquharson loading dock. There will be no access to the Farquharson loading dock, East entrance doors to Lumbers or the Lumbers East Parking Lot. The items that will be lifted will arrive on numerous flatbeds that will require the closure of the entire Lumbers East Parking Lot.
Access along the walkway between Farquharson Life Sciences and Lumbers will be impeded. Pedestrians will have to circumvent either South of Farquharson Life Sciences or North of Lumbers.
When travelling around the immediate construction area, watch for and adhere to all pedestrian signage, as well as traffic control personnel assigned to the site.
